Our New Map

Mmm... it seems  that a very important WANT in our neighborhood community
is a Toys-r-Us store. 

 I think that will be a great lesson on opportunity cost.  

We will be creating a store in our classroom too!  The students will learn how supply and demand affect the cost of items in the store. 

How We Organize Ourselves

We have begun a new planner:  How We Organize Ourselves.  As an introduction to the planner we are modifying our map by adding things we may need or want in our community.   The three lines of inquiry include needs and want, roles and responsibility of citizens and local and global resources.
