This week we decided to go back in time to find out about bark painting. What did people use before paper was invented? We learned about the Amate bark painting and the techniques that the people used. One thing was the usage of black lines to create an outline. The lines could be thick or thin, straight or wavy. We tried the procedure using brown paper bags to represent the bark.
