How We Organize Ourselves

As part of our economic planner, we explored assembly lines and the types of resources required to make an assembly line work. In the classroom, we tried various ways of weaving paper rugs using this method. After establishing, a boss, two assistant managers and a quality control station we ended up with over 23 "rugs." The Soaring Pilots began to brainstorm who would want these and could they create a demand to sell them. As we continued to work together to figure out this dilemma the idea for a store emerged. Products were created, demand was created and a time for the store was advertised. As you can see, the store was a hugh hit and we ended up selling out of many products. The next step is to budget our profit by spending some, saving some and donating to a worthy cause.
