Here are a few pictures to show how the classroom evolved in the weeks prior to the first day of school. It's like unpacking a small apartment! Every year I have to change something to make the room special for the new group of students! This year I was forced to leave the classroom before I was ready to prepare for Hurricane Harvey. Of course, nothing could have prepared me for what transpired over the next few days and then over the next few weeks. Now the empty classroom is filled with students (finally!) and it has become a busy hub of learning and fun!
