As we continue to explore our new planner, How We Organize ourselves, we looked at what our community supplies. We made a list of what you can find in our community and then determined if they are supplying a good or a service. First we had to understand that a service is something someone provides for you at a price. Examples include getting your pet groomed or getting a shot at the doctor's office. A good is something that is made. Examples would be candy, pens and the rug we sit on at school.
This week we explored the phases of the moon. We learned that the moon gets its light from the sun. The amount of light from the sun indicates what phase of the moon is showing. Here we are trying to use cookies (Fun and Messy) to create, describe and explain the phases of the moon.
